The Cybera secure application edge appliances make it easy for non-technical staff to connect remote locations to the Cybera cloud. Upon delivery at your location, your onsite staff simply needs to plug it into the existing network. From there, all configuration, security, applications, and updates are handled remotely by Cybera.
Eliminate a closet full of devices
By combining the Cybera cloud with essential networking functions in a single edge appliance, we eliminate the cost and complexity of deploying, integrating, and managing disparate solutions from multiple vendors at each remote location. These functions include:
- Security compliance
- Network segmentation
- Service Insertion for Next Generation Security Services
Edge Appliance Models
Cybera offers two models for remote sites. Both perform essentially the same functions with the primary differences being the number of available LAN ports. The Cybera SCA-315 has 8 LAN ports and the Cybera SCA-325 has 16. The SCA-325 also has additional RAM and a faster dual-core processor. SCA-315 DATASHEET | SCA-325 DATASHEET
Most distributed enterprises only require our edge appliance to connect their remote locations to the Cybera Network Services Platform. However, for those customers with geographical data privacy requirements or those that want to maintain Cybera managed services on their own private cloud, Cybera provides the SCA-500 series Cloud Extension.
The Cloud Gateway can be installed in your datacenter or in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, etc.) to host virtual instances of the network gateway, remote logging, monitoring, and security authentication software. By locating them geographically, they reduce the number of network hops, accelerate response times, and improve the user experience without compromising security.
