Andrew Lev
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Lev is an accomplished security leader and brings over 25 years of high technology experience to the company. Most recently, Lev served as Chief Product Officer for NTT Com Security, where he was responsible for all aspects of the managed and professional services product portfolio after serving as Chief Marketing Officer and as Group SVP – Marketing, Alliances and Channels. His career also includes co-founding KSR / Neohapsis and MetaTV, which were acquired by Cisco and Comcast, respectively, as well as sales positions with Mozart and Oracle. Lev received a B.A degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder

Cliff Duffey
President and Founder
Cliff Duffey has served as Cybera's President since founding the company in February, 2001. As president, he has been the architect of Cybera's growth and emergence as a leading security technology company. Prior to Cybera, Duffey served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Covad, managing the acquisition and integration of BlueStar Communications. Duffey was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at BlueStar Communications, where he managed technology strategy, business development, product marketing, and the rollout of BlueStar's network of 450 U.S. data centers. He also held management positions with Ascend Communications up until its acquisition by Lucent, and Intermedia Communications. Duffey holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.

Jon Howard
Chief Financial Officer
Jon Howard brings over 25 years of broad financial experience in technology, manufacturing and professional services. Prior to joining Cybera, Howard has held several financial leadership roles, including CFO at OnCore Manufacturing Services, CFO of IBM’s Operation Services business unit, and Corporate Controller for Sterling Commerce. Howard has also held several leadership roles at Solectron and KPMG after beginning his career with NCR. He is a certified management accountant, and he holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Ithaca College and a master's of business administration from Emory University.

Jeff Manning
Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Channels
Jeff Manning's career spans over 20 years in technology, with numerous leadership roles in sales, business development, and marketing, in the networking Industry. Prior to joining Cybera, Manning was a VP of Sales at Cradlepoint, where he was instrumental in scaling the business and doubling company revenue. At Motorola, Manning led the North America sales organization for Wireless, Security, and Managed Services. Mr. Manning holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he studied Law and Psychology. He is also a co-founder, and active board member of 802 Secure Inc., a Bay-area wireless security startup, and he lives in the greater Boston area.

Bethany Allee
Vice President of Marketing
Bethany Allee is an accomplished business leader of global and regional marketing organizations. As a leader at Broadcom and Brocade, Allee implemented a partner marketing strategy that drove a $100M business to $2.3B+ over the course of seven years. Her go-to-market efforts include a product line with 78% market share in Storage Area Networking. Ms. Allee has a deep commitment and passion for developing female leaders and for the arts. Most recently, she founded Sound and Vision Social Club, a charity-driven organization devoted to giving artists exposure for their work, by making art approachable for patrons. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Wise 4 Women, a networking organization that provides free consulting services for women-owned businesses and female executives. Ms. Allee holds a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies and she resides in Austin, TX.

Jayesh Patel
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Jayesh Patel brings over 25 years of experience in SaaS, cloud, data networking and wireless industries. Most recently, Patel was Head of Pricing and Business Strategy for Brocade Software Networking Business. Prior roles include VP of Business Development & Strategy at iBasis and VP & General Manager of Mobile Packet Data Solutions at Alcatel. Patel was co-founder and CEO of WaterCove, a mobile wireless infrastructure supplier that was acquired by Alcatel. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Sussex, England.

Hubert Da Costa
Senior Vice President and General Manger EMEA
Hubert Da Costa carved out a successful career in the FMCG sector. His career evolved from managerial level, to Global Business Development and Alliances Director and then Vice President Channels EMEA with Sonus Networks, followed by the same role, along with GM MEA region at NCR. After spending 4 years as VP & GM for EMEA, successfully establishing Cradlepoint internationally, Hubert joined Cybera as SVP and GM EMEA in late 2018, tasked with expanding this cloud-based network and application services organization internationally. Da Costa was educated at Leeds University. Away from work, Hubert is a life-long supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Kristen Hudson
Vice President of Business Process and PMO
Kristen Hudson has more than 20 years of leadership, business process and project management experience in a technical environment. Prior to joining Cybera in 2008, Hudson was with XO Communications, where she held leadership positions over various departments. While at XO Communications, she launched a centralized network optimization team that identified and managed enterprise-wide network projects and process improvements, resulting in millions of dollars of savings for the company. She earned the coveted eXample award three times while working at XO, in recognition for her strong leadership and teamwork abilities. Hudson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from George Mason University.

Paul Mercadante
Director
Paul Mercadante a Managing Director and a co-founder of Sumeru Equity Partners and co-founded Silver Lake Sumeru, the middle market investment strategy of Silver Lake. Mercadante has extensive operating and investing experience in the technology sector. He serves on Silver Lake Sumeru's investment committee and continues to maintain responsibility for managing the SLS portfolio. Prior to co-founding Silver Lake Sumeru, Mercadante was a partner at Shah Capital Partners. In addition to his private equity background, Mercadante has significant operational experience in managing, growing, and leading technology companies. Prior to joining Shah Capital Partners, Mercadante was President of Force Computers, a leading provider of embedded computing systems and a wholly owned subsidiary of Solectron, Inc. that was subsequently sold to Motorola, Inc. in 2004. Prior to Force, Mercadante was the Vice President of Strategic Planning for Solectron's $2 billion Technology Solutions Business Unit. Mercadante also has previous experiences with SMART Modular Technologies, Apex Data, Rose Communications, and Activision. He has a B.A. in Economics from the State University of New York.

Sanjeet Mitra
Director
Sanjeet Mitra is a Managing Director and a co-founder of Sumeru Equity Partners. He joined Silver Lake Sumeru in 2007, the middle market investment strategy of Silver Lake. Mitra has eight years of investing and investment banking experience. He continues to maintain responsibility for managing the SLS portfolio. Prior to joining Silver Lake Sumeru, Mitra worked in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in San Francisco, where he worked with clients in the industrial, TMT, and healthcare sectors. Mitra graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Ellen Carnahan
Director
A highly successful investor with over thirty years of venture capital experience as co-manager and lead technology investor at William Blair Capital Partners (WBCP), Ellen Carnahan is Principal of Machrie Enterprises LLC. Machrie provides angel capital, expertise and extensive connections to growth businesses. She serves as a director of six companies—public, private-equity and venture backed. Prior to joining WBCP in 1988, she was Vice President of Marketing and Planning at SPSS, a then $30-million software company; and, Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Trailer Train Company, the largest operator of railroad flatcars. Active in the Chicago community, she serves or has served on non-profit boards including Communities in Schools Chicago (FY ‘16 Chair), The Chicago Network (FY ’07 Chair), the State of Illinois Innovation and Growth Fund, the Illinois Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (FY ’10 Chair); and, The Metropolitan Planning Council. Ms. Carnahan is a CPA, graduated as salutatorian from the University of Notre Dame, and received an MBA from the University of Chicago.

George H. Spencer
Director
George Spencer serves as a consultant representing Adams Street Partners' investment interests by providing ongoing support for select portfolio companies. Spencer sits on the Boards of Directors of Convio, Cybera, E4X, Knightsbridge Solutions and SPS Commerce. He also led investments in Authoria (Hire.com), Cbeyond Communications (NASDAQ: CBEY) and Synchronoss (SNCR).

Sean Kendra
Director
Sean Kendra is a Vice President of Sumeru Equity Partners. He joined Silver Lake Sumeru in 2013, the middle market investment strategy of Silver Lake, and continues to maintain responsibility for managing the SLS portfolio.
Prior to joining Silver Lake Sumeru, Sean worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Group at Greenhill & Co. in New York.
