Andrew Lev currently serves as Cybera’s Chief Executive Officer. He is an accomplished security leader and brings over 25 years of high technology experience to the company. Most recently, Lev served as Chief Product Officer for NTT Com Security, where he was responsible for all aspects of the managed and professional services product portfolio after serving as Chief Marketing Officer and as Group SVP – Marketing, Alliances and Channels. His career also includes co-founding KSR / Neohapsis and MetaTV, which were acquired by Cisco and Comcast, respectively, as well as sales positions with Mozart and Oracle. Lev received a B.A degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
President and Founder
Cliff Duffey has served as Cybera’s President since founding the company in February, 2001. As president, he has been the architect of Cybera’s growth and emergence as a leading security technology company. Prior to Cybera, Duffey served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Covad, managing the acquisition and integration of BlueStar Communications. Duffey was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at BlueStar Communications, where he managed technology strategy, business development, product marketing, and the rollout of BlueStar’s network of 450 U.S. data centers. He also held management positions with Ascend Communications up until its acquisition by Lucent, and Intermedia Communications. Duffey holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
CTO & EVP Engineering
Greg Garten serves as Cybera’s Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering. He is a senior business and technical leader who brings extensive security expertise and experience with large multinational companies. Prior to joining Cybera, Garten was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at NTT Communications, where he developed their next generation managed security services platform. Garten’s career also includes various senior architect positions at Intuit, Cable & Wireless and Exodus Communications. He has in depth experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems, technical processes and controls relating to ISO27001, PCI, SOX and HIPAA regulatory requirements. Garten is an active member of IEEE, ISC2 and ISSA.
Jon Howard currently serves as Cybera’s Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 25 years of broad financial experience in technology, manufacturing and professional services. Prior to joining Cybera, Howard has held several financial leadership roles, including CFO at OnCore Manufacturing Services, CFO of IBM’s Operation Services business unit, and Corporate Controller for Sterling Commerce. Howard has also held several leadership roles at Solectron and KPMG after beginning his career with NCR. He is a certified management accountant, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ithaca College and a master’s of business administration from Emory University.
VP Business Process and PMO
Kristen Hudson currently serves as the Vice President of Business Process and PMO. She brings over 20 years of leadership, business process and project management experience in a technical environment. Prior to joining Cybera in 2008, Hudson was with XO Communications, where she held leadership positions over various departments. While at XO Communications, she launched a centralized network optimization team that identified and managed enterprise-wide network projects and process improvements, resulting in millions of dollars of savings for the company. She earned the coveted eXample award three times while working at XO, in recognition for her strong leadership and teamwork abilities. Hudson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from George Mason University.
Anita Pandey is the VP of Marketing for Cybera. She has over 20 years of experience as a marketing leader in networking, unified communications, wireless and cloud security. Before joining Cybera, she was the VP of marketing and business development for AirTight Networks, expanding their brand presence and boosting their footprint through their first channel program. Prior to that, Pandey was a marketing leader at Ruckus Wireless through a very high growth period, culminating in their IPO. A longtime networking veteran, she has also held a variety of marketing and business development positions at Cisco. She launched some of their most profitable channel & demand generation programs and developed several impactful partnerships, accelerating their wireless market share and diversifying their vertical industry presence. Pandey holds a master’s degree in business from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
Executive VP Sales and Channels
Eric Warner serves as Cybera’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Channels. He brings over 25 years of management experience in worldwide Channels and Sales in Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Government, Manufacturing, Service Providers as well as the High Technology industry. Prior to joining Cybera, Warner previously led Glassbeam’s World Wide Field Operations including Sales and Services with a client & market expansion team focused on delivering groundbreaking savings and topline growth in the rapidly emerging market for predictive analytics, leveraging “Machine Data” within the “Internet of Things”. He also held various leadership roles at Sensage (acquired by KEYW), NTT Communications, Blue Vector, VeriSign, Sun Microsystems, and he was a founding team member and key contributor at BEA, helping the firm become one of the fastest growing software start-ups in the industry with a highly successful IPO. Warner is a graduate of San Diego State University.
Ron Robinson was the Senior Vice President of Sales for Cybera from 2002 through 2007 and re-joined the company in the same role in October 2012. Before joining Cybera, he was a regional director for Intermedia Communications, where he grew the company’s revenue by 400 percent. Robinson previously served in various sales management roles for Sprint, Telenet and GTE. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a master’s of business administration from the University of Washington.
SVP Strategic Sales
Paul Melton is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales for Cybera. Melton leads the strategic sales team and overall strategy for new revenue growth with a focus on strategic partnerships and channel sales. Before joining Cybera, Melton was Co-founder and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Global Linking Solutions (GLS), a managed network services provider, where he maintained this capacity for nearly 10 years. He was directly responsible for revenue growth and profitability derived from direct and indirect channel resources. Previously, Melton served as AT&T’s Regional Sales Director for Internet services, responsible for all business development related to AT&T’s Internet initiatives. Melton came to AT&T from the Federal Government where he was the Business Development Manager for a division within the U.S. Department of Commerce. Melton graduated with a degree in Economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
VP Channel Sales
Shaf Begen is the Vice President of Channel Sales for Cybera. He brings over 20 years of leadership and experience working with operators/carriers, channel partners and has delivered results across sales, pre-sales, marketing, and professional services. He has published articles and original content and he continually improves sales effectiveness, enablement, and on-boarding. Formerly with MobileIron, Begen created a robust channel with global carriers which subsequently led to a MobileIron IPO. He has also held positions at NEC, SAP, Oracle, Capgemini, and Exablox. Begen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
