SmartLink Wireless Broadband offers a broadband solution for dynamic or robust application environments that call for significant bandwidth in the event of a primary access service interruption. In addition, highly reliable Dial Backup is a feature designed into many of our merchant solutions for the peace of mind that credit authorizations can be routed in the event of a primary connectivity outage.  More sophisticated persistent fail over circuits or alternate routing for host connections can also be designed and implemented upon request, offering increased reliability and reducing any risk of a site outage. Internet Access – While Cybera is not an Internet Service Provider and does not provide traditional internet services, we can, and frequently do provide as an optional service, Internet connectivity to the storefront through our core network.  In these instances, access requirements at the store level are assessed and bandwidth is provisioned at host connection.  Cybera custom designs and proposes the appropriate solution, which we are responsible for ordering, implementing and maintaining on behalf of our customers. Content Filtering – The ability to limit, or block entirely, access to certain categories of content or specific sites is crucial to many businesses and merchant environments offering public Internet access.  Cybera supports robust content filtering solutions using white and black list approaches driven by customer requirements.  From access to shipping sites only to creation of a family friendly environment in a casual dining setting, Cybera’s content filtering options are sure to meet your business needs. Traffic Prioritization – Specific categories of data traffic should be considered more important than others.  For instance, credit authorization traffic should be treated differently than public Internet access traffic serving an in-store WiFi HotSpot.  When two applications generating these types of traffic share the same network facilities, prioritization becomes essential.  Cybera’s core SmartNetwork architecture is unique in the industry in that it supports true edge-to-edge prioritization of traffic, allowing you to offer valuable add-on services while maintaining a focus on revenue-generating transactions. Applications SmartSpot – Cybera’s own unique HotSpot product, named SmartSpotSM , offers significant advantages over competing offerings. For example, SmartSpot, which is deployed over Cybera’s SmartNetwork solutions, is designed to leverage the primary access circuits that support other store-critical applications.  The ability of wireless applications, credit authorization and other forms of traffic to share the same connection saves you money on infrastructure costs.  Shared infrastructure results in a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) – not only lower monthly access fees, but also fewer connections and service providers to manage.  The SmartNetwork secure networking architecture also ensures that public Internet users have no ability to access or interfere with private store traffic.  Additional features such as traffic prioritization, content filtering, branded splash pages and the ability to support concurrent wireless LANs for public and private in-store applications make Cybera’s SmartSpot a differentiated, industry-leading solution. Merchant Services Gateways – Cybera has established numerous gateways directly connected to transaction processing partners.  Using dedicated, redundant broadband connections Cybera routes credit, PIN debit, loyalty, and gift transactions to processors on behalf of its clients.  So, whether you require only a single processing partner or several, Cybera stands ready as the one provider to assist with and manage all your transaction routing needs.  Where necessary, because of our many relationships in this category, we can also assist our clients with connections direct from the host location to the processor.
